How our guest cards work
From the first call with a renter to the day they get their keys, here's where your office comes in.
-
A renter asks us for help
Someone looking for an apartment reaches out to our locating team. We learn their budget, move-in date, the area they want and what matters to them, then send them options that fit.
-
They mark you as a favorite
When the renter marks your community as a favorite and plans to tour or apply, we send your office a guest card from a clientguestcard.com address. It names the renter, when they expect to come by, and our team as the referral source.
-
Your team takes it from there
The renter tours, applies and leases with you like any other prospect. We stay in touch with them along the way and may check in with your office on their status.
-
They move in
Once the lease is signed and the renter has moved in, we follow up with your office about the referral under your community's locator program.
What we ask of your office
Three small things keep every referral clean for both of us.
- Keep the card on fileSave it with the prospect's record so the referral source is clear when they apply.
- Tell us about duplicates earlyIf the renter was already in your system before our card arrived, let us know when they first reached you.
- Keep our contact currentNew leasing email or manager? Send us the update and future cards go to the right place.
Questions leasing teams ask us
Is this email legitimate?
Yes. Guest cards from our team come from a clientguestcard.com address. If you're unsure about one, send us the renter's name and we'll confirm it.
We already had this prospect.
Tell us when they first contacted your office and how. We'll review it with you rather than argue over it. Report a duplicate.
Who handles referral fees and invoices?
Our team does. Use the contact form with the renter's name and unit, and we'll reply with what you need.
Our email or management company changed.
Send us the new address and future cards go there. If you'd rather not receive cards at all, say so in the same form.
Can we reply to the card directly?
The contact form is the surest way to reach a person on our team. It keeps your message with the right renter and gets a faster answer.
Do you work with our community already?
If you received a card, a renter we're helping picked your community. If you'd like to work with us more closely, say hello.
